WHERE TO EAT
Would you expect anything less from a foodie couple?!
Please come tell us all about your meal at the wedding if you go to any of these:

Lewis Barbecue

All the Texans at the wedding may disagree but Lauren prefers this to Franklin Barbeque in Austin, TX. John Lewis trained under Aaron Franklin.

Saltwater Cowboys

Across the bridge in Mount Pleasant, there's an inlet with casual restaurants lining a marina called Shem Creek. We recommend Saltwater Cowboys but these are all great, casual spots to watch the sunset.

Hall's Chophouse

The Sunday Gospel Brunch is incredible and a must do for a southern Sunday brunch experience! The hospitality here is unmatched!

Husk

Lauren’s parents are friends with the owner and there is a Chef’s Table episode on Netflix about this restaurant!

Melfi’s

Newly opened Italian spot with a fantastic atmosphere!

Citrus Club

Rooftop spot at the top of the Dewberry. Highest point in Charleston, grab a drink and enjoy an appetizer here!

Harken Café

Coffee, pastries, lunch right next to the church we are getting married in!

The Darling

Oyster bar on King Street with a great happy hour!

Leon’s Oyster Shop

Another great spot if you’re in the mood for oysters!

82 Queen

A long-time Charleston favorite known classic southern dishes such as She Crab Soup, Shrimp and Grits, and Fried Green Tomatoes.

Hank’s Seafood

Charleston is known for its fresh, local seafood. Please don’t confuse this spot with Hyman’s which is a tourist trap.

F.I.G.

While we haven’t eaten here yet, we have heard GREAT things and will be very jealous if you get a reservation at this fine dining spot!

Frannie and the Fox

Italian American restaurant in the courtyard of Hotel Emeline.

Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit

Walk in shop on King Street with homemade biscuits in various flavors.

Xiao Bao Biscuit

Trendy Chinese restaurant inspired by couple’s seven-month honeymoon throughout Asia.

Miller’s All Day

Reliable southern brunch spot on King Street.

Little Jack’s Tavern

Very solid, no frills spot known for their burger, right next to Leon's Oyster Bar.

Off Track Ice Cream

There's a few ice cream shops around Charleston, but our favorite is Off Track Ice Cream! It's made from scratch!
